This is the overview, not a click-by-click walkthrough — what it actually takes to get a quote from nothing to Confirmed. One thing to have in place first if nobody's done it yet: printing a quote is blocked until an admin has set a retail markup in Settings → Curtain settings. That's a one-time setup, not something you repeat per quote. 这是一份概览,而不是逐步点击的教程——展示的是把一份报价单从零做到 Confirmed 实际需要经过哪些环节。有一件事需要先确认好:在某位 admin 于 Settings → Curtain settings 中设置零售加价之前,报价单是无法打印的。这是一次性的设置,并不需要每份报价单都重新做一次。
Add or choose the customer 添加或选择客户
A quote always belongs to a customer. Pick one already on file, or create one on the spot — either from the Customers page's + Add customer button, or right inside the next step's dialog, via its own + New customer choice. 每一份报价单都必须归属于某个客户。可以选择已有的客户,也可以当场新建一个——既可以在 Customers 页面点击 + Add customer,也可以直接在下一步的对话框里通过其中的 + New customer 选项创建。
Click + New quote 点击 + New quote
Found on the Dashboard and on the Orders page. With customers already on file, a dialog offers two paths: pick one from the Existing customer dropdown and click Create quote, or use + New customer on the right to create one and start the quote in the same motion. With zero customers on file, it goes straight to + New customer. 该按钮位于 Dashboard 和 Orders 页面上。如果你已经有客户存档,会弹出一个对话框,提供两种选择:从 Existing customer 下拉列表中选择客户后点击 Create quote,或者点击右侧的 + New customer 新建客户并直接开始这份报价单。如果目前还没有任何客户,则会直接进入 + New customer 流程。
Add items 添加商品项
Inside the new order — now a Draft — click + Add item for every window or opening in the job, filling in its fabric and measurements. The order stays a fully editable Draft until you print it. 进入新建的订单(此时状态为 Draft)后,针对这份工作中的每一个窗口或开口,点击 + Add item 并填写其面料与尺寸。在打印之前,订单会一直保持 Draft 状态,可以随意编辑。
Click Print quote 点击 Print quote
This is the step that actually moves the order from Draft to Quoted — printing a quote and marking it Quoted are the same action, there's no separate button for the second half. It only succeeds once every item is fully priced with a wholesaler-confirmed fabric (avoid anything the fabric picker marks "Pricing pending") and your store's retail markup is set — if either isn't true yet, Print quote says so plainly rather than doing nothing. 这一步才是真正把订单从 Draft 推进到 Quoted 的动作——打印报价单和把它标记为"已报价",其实是同一个操作,并没有单独的第二个按钮。只有当每一项都已完整计价、且所选面料不是面料选择器中标注的 "Pricing pending" 状态,并且店铺的零售加价已经设置好,这一步才会成功——如果还有条件没满足,Print quote 会明确提示你,而不是毫无反应。
Record a deposit 记录一笔定金
Click + Add payment, set Type to Deposit, enter the amount received and click Add payment. This isn't optional at this point — Confirm (next) stays disabled, with the on-screen reason "Record at least one deposit payment (amount greater than $0) before confirming", until you do. 点击 + Add payment,将 Type 设为 Deposit,输入已收到的金额,然后点击 Add payment。到这一步这并非可选项——下一步的 Confirm 会一直处于禁用状态,并显示提示文字 "Record at least one deposit payment (amount greater than $0) before confirming",直到你完成这一步为止。
Click Confirm 点击 Confirm
A dialog asks you to confirm — click Confirm order. Items, services and discounts are locked from here on (payments can still be added), and the order moves to Confirmed. Start to here covers three of the eight stages an order passes through: Draft → Quoted → Confirmed → Pending → In production → Dispatched → Ready → Completed. The remaining five happen as you order this job's materials from your wholesaler and see it through to dispatch — its own article, in a later batch. 系统会弹出一个对话框请你确认——点击 Confirm order。从这一步起,商品项、服务项和折扣都会被锁定(付款仍然可以继续添加),订单进入 Confirmed 状态。从开始到这里,只走完了一份订单全部八个阶段中的前三个:Draft → Quoted → Confirmed → Pending → In production → Dispatched → Ready → Completed。剩下的五个阶段,会在你向批发商订购这份工作所需的材料、并一路跟进到发货的过程中完成——这部分内容将在后续批次中作为独立文章介绍。
